Using localStorage and innoDB can improve load times dramatically.

in GrabProductionGlosses() from lib/utils

This managed list can be overwritten, but if the recent date has not changed, the contained annotations are also current.

There may be a reason to consider a RERUM ticket for a more complicated query that dereferences subdocuments as well.
