Looking for any data in the .nc files is inefficient, and it would be nice if the existing data files were tabulated somewhere in the docs

@charleskawczynski , @dennisYatunin ,
I believe the lookup table structs provide good description of all the data read from the .nc data file. I would like to close this issue, unless there are any additional comments.
