A company called Edgio have gone bankrupt and the azureedge.net CDN will be going away on 15th January 2025.
Microsoft has a replacement CDN for some endpoints:

It doesn't look like Microsoft have updated the links at, for example, https://developer.microsoft.com/en-gb/microsoft-edge/tools/webdriver/?cs=2282084340&form=MA13LH yet, but here's a heads-up.
This affects Selenium and was reported via issue SeleniumHQ/selenium#15024

As discussed with @leotlee internally, it seems like the azureedge.net endpoint will continue to work as is even after the edge.io provided stops working.
I'll let Leo confirm and potentially close this issue.

Why will the azureedge.net endpoint continue to work for the Edge Web Driver downloads? All the other MS stuff I have looked at (azcopy and dotnet) seem to indicate that azureedge.net is not a good option once Jan 15th hits. The build5nines.com article listed above also indicates that not updating contains risks. Just trying to understand. Thank you!
