Describe the bug
Once enabling fan control for specific fans and increasing the speed, the actual RPM reading decreases. In addition, previously recognized sensors now are now no longer recognized.

Relevant hardware specs and setup

Is that since a specific version update? Are you running the program as admin, with a proper startup delay on start?

This is with the latest version, 212, running as admin, and with a 30 second delay.

Sorry, to be more clear, the fans were never detected before v212. Once i updated, they were detected however i ran in to the issue with them slowing down even when set to 100%.

After closing and re opening FC later on, i got the error that the fans were no longer detected.

I'm having a very similar problem. Fan curves suddenly started working opposite how they were working. Right now min speed is at 70% and fans are at 650~rpm. Reducing min speed increases fan speed.

After uninstalling, reinstalling, and DISABLING fanxpert in armory crate, everything works as i would expect. Seems like fanxpert interferes with even being able to reliably detect the sensors as well as controlling them.

In my experience, FanXpert with its quiet mode will artificially change the speed range, so that "100%" will actually be let say 50% and so on.

Thats good to know. The other issue of the sensors just not being found was only resolved by fully disabling fanxpert.
