Description
The ability to press two buttons at the same time with two fingers is consistently going away every time I close the game for a longer period of time. Nothing I tried fixes the bug, factory reseting doesn't help either. I've reinstalled the game twice and it has fixed the problem up until I close the game for a period of time. Upon reopening after ~10 hours, the game doesn't recognise multi-touch anymore. When I closed the app and reopened it within minutes, multi-touch continued to work fine. It was only after a longer time period that it stopped working, which made me think that some hard reset was going on behind the scenes. The ~10 hour number is an estimate, it could take less time for the problem to show up.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Download Lemuroid from the Play Store
Open ROM and start playing
Emulator functions normally
Close the Lemuroid app
Open the app after ~10 hours
Multi-touch is disabled
Expected behavior
When opening the app after a few hours, the ability to press down other buttons is disabled while another button is being pressed. When one button is pressed, all other buttons in the emulator cannot be pressed.

Can't show the bug in a screenshot, but here is one anyway.

We have a device affected by the same issue it seems, on a Samsung S20 FE. For an unknown reason, we can no longer press multiple buttons at the same time. For example, in a GBA game, pressing down arrow and B button at the same time, results in only down arrow being pressed, and sometimes, weirdly, an up arrow would register in addition to down arrow (both would glow at the same time).
For now we downgraded from the F-Droid 1.16.1 version, to version 1.15.0, which does not seem to be affected by this issue, and works as expected. The closet possibly related thing in the change log that might cause an issue with the UI is "Migrate mobile UI to Jetpack Compose" in version 1.16.0, but I'm not sure.
The device was not rooted, and it did not allow downgrading the package in place; I had to uninstall the current lemuroid and install the older one manually, so preserving the saves was a bit of a pain. I managed to do it by pulling the saves and state with adb, and then pushing them again after downgrade.
I wrote a comment on another issue further describing the workaround.
