Can't use external controller

Describe the bug
mocute-060 game controller works on the emulator, but as soon as I load a game it stops working

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Turn controller on
2. Start the emulator
3. Load a game

Expected behavior
it should work

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

• Device: Huawei y5
• OS: Android 6.0

Additional context
works on every other emulator I tried (retroarch, Mame, spectaculator, etc)! In fact it actually even works on lemuroid (on the menus!) but as soon as I load a game it stops working! It also does not appear listed on lemuroid settings!

Downgrading to 1.15.0 solved the issue!
