8.0.1 (Tool tip and dimming)

Important! If you are using tools for the first time, please read Beginner's guide and AlienFX-GUI readme to configure out it's concept and operation principle.

Warning! Some older configuration formats not supported anymore! Backup your configuration using alienfx-config!

• In case you upgrade from 7.7.2.1 or early, first install and run 7.8.1
• In case you upgrade from 7.10.5 or early, first install and run 7.10.6.2

Changes into this release:

AlienFan-GUI and AlienFX-GUI:

• Tray icon tooltip changed - now it shows fan RPM and current boost for this fan.

AlienFX-GUI:

• New dimming logic:
  • Lights will be dimmed all the time, if dimmed globally (from settings or tray menu)
  • Lights will stay dimmed if "Dim lights" option active into current profile
  • In case lights dimmed into profile, keyboard shortcut Fn+AlienFX will switch between dimmed and off state
• Fan and power data added to tray icon tool tip.
• Current profile lights state will be restored after LightFX game/app quit.
• "Power" setting ignored for lights on APIv0 (Desktop) and APIv7 (Monitor) devices - they only have one state and should handle as common lights. But this lights will still follow control from settings (like "Dim power/Indicator").
• Bug fixed: Double dimming for APIv7 (Monitor).
• Bug fixed: Zone state does not restore correctly after color edit at "Colors" tab if zone lights have some effects.

AlienFX-Mon:

• Bug fixed: Visual glitch at sensor tray icon if sensor value less, then 10.
