It's out, and kdl-rs has a killer feature where it can parse v1 or v2 and then convert to v1: #887

This means we can migrate without breaking backwards compatibility!

Will need to play around with it a bit, see if there's any v2-specific changes I want to make. In particular, maybe I can make it so some deprecated config syntax doesn't work in v2.
