I know this is out of scope but someone might have a lead to help optimize my search. I've been using rtlamr for a few years on my Itron meter. Works great, and thanks for that.
I just got solar and they pulled the Itron and installed the Aclara above. Near as I can tell they're made by GE and supplied to various resellers with different comms options.
GE docs indicate that what they supply to Aclara is PLCC. I'm going to try to verify this through the Vogons at my utility but assuming it is, does anyone have any leads for me on picking up and/or decoding the data carrying signal. I'd think it should be easy. I hate reinventing wheels and prefer to stand on giants' shoulders whenever possible.
