I just updated xca to 2.8.0 using flatpak. It looks that the useful default template TLS_server is now gone.

The search path for templates changed on linux because of a change in the appname from "xca" to "de.hohnstaedt.xca"

Are the template files available to import, and if so, where might they be located?

You may symlink de.hohnstaedt.xca to xca in the /usr/share directory of the app for the time being.
I will publish an updated flatpak, soon.
