DXVK v2.5.2 breaks Mafia Definitive Edition color renering #4542
Comments
Hi there. Please attach logs, should appear next to the exe. Also make a apitrace if able |
Uploaded log files for both versions |
Do you have a HDR monitor? |
I do, well technically is a TV, an OLED LG C8. |
Might be something in the HDR chain of events that breaks then. |
Unfortunately I already tried it and it didn't work. I guess I will have to use the previous version. |
This is a side effect of the exclusive fullscreen changes, disabling HDR in Windows settings should resolve the issue as well. I don't have an HDR setup to test this with, but I suspect that sRGB content does not get interpreted correctly without a mode switch. This probably isn't something we can work around on our end though since all we can do is tell the Vulkan driver that we're displaying sRGB content, and we're already doing that. |
Mafia DXVK.zip
When using DXVK version 2.5.2 to run Mafia Definitive Edition the colors are rendered incorrectly and are boosted or over saturated. This doesn't happen with version 2.5.1
