Mafia DXVK.zip
When using DXVK version 2.5.2 to run Mafia Definitive Edition the colors are rendered incorrectly and are boosted or over saturated. This doesn't happen with version 2.5.1
If you use Windows, please check the following page: https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/wiki/Windows

Software information

Mafia Definitive Edition using max settings with exclusive fullscreen and vsync on.

System information

  • GPU: RTX 4090
  • Driver: 566.36
  • Wine version: Windows 11 24H2
  • DXVK version: 2.5.2

Edit: Added logs for both v2.5.1 and v2.5.2

This is how it looks on my system. I tried GTA IV and it looks good with 2.5.2, only Mafia is affected by this. Again reverting to 2.5.1 fixes the issue.

Might be something in the HDR chain of events that breaks then.
You can try to insert dxgi.enableHDR = True in to a file called dxvk.conf next to the games exe/dxvk DLLs. Though i am not sure that would really change anything.

Unfortunately I already tried it and it didn't work. I guess I will have to use the previous version.

This is a side effect of the exclusive fullscreen changes, disabling HDR in Windows settings should resolve the issue as well.

I don't have an HDR setup to test this with, but I suspect that sRGB content does not get interpreted correctly without a mode switch. This probably isn't something we can work around on our end though since all we can do is tell the Vulkan driver that we're displaying sRGB content, and we're already doing that.
