[Issue] Brave Sync chain not working on arch.

The issue

I have installed it on an arch system with no DE configured previously. I am running into errors with brave, where I am unable to sync data in my sync chain. How do I fix this?

I thought this would be the right place to ask it, as searching online gave me results about using gnome's keyring service, and I figured it might have something to do with me not using a DM for login.

I am most definitely wrong, cause it's my first time with arch and actually messing around with stuff. I've been using ubuntu with gnome till now.
