Quickwit has garnered a lot of attention the past year, as a contender to Loki.
However, Datadog recently purchased them, so it's unclear if the product will be shut down or live on (assumes the community will take over maintenance).
Given all this, it would be interesting if Grafana/Loki would:
Publish a comparison or explanation of how Quickwit/Loki are different, and strength/weaknesses (preferably neutral).
If there are shortcomings in Loki, maybe mention any plans to fix them, i.e where will Loki be inspired by Quickwit?
I don't know if it's feasible, but perhaps even consider "taking over" development, assuming I've read their we are joining Datadog blog post correctly and that the current core team will no longer develop Quickwit.
