Is there a way to change the TTS voice in domina/voice reminder mode?

I use this both on my mac and Ubuntu machine. On my mac I really like the reminders of what I'm supposed to be doing. But on my Linux machine the voice is super jarring. It sounds like microsoft sam I believe. Is there any way to change voices that are used in Super Productivity? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Currently there is to my knowledge no way of doing so.

@johannesjo Depending on the platform, the speech synthesis will have multiple voices available. It might be worthwhile to make this user-configurable.

So the first step is to fork the repository, check out your fork, and get it to run locally.

After you manage to get that to work, the first experiment that I would suggest is this.
Navigate to this code, print out the list of voices and choose a random one. Or hardcode the index of a voice.

After that, you'll want to extend the speak function to accept a voice as an argument, and call it accordingly in the domina mode.

In that file, you'll also notice the import { selectIsDominaModeConfig } from '../../config/store/global-config.reducer';. So now you have a shot at figuring out where the domina mode setting is stored. Maybe you can even figure out where the UI for that is?

Then, you'll add an option to the settings, with a dropdown for the voices, hook everything up and test it a bit.

And finally, you can push your code, and create a pull request. Remember how we created a fork in the first step? That's where you'll push your code :)
