Mainpoints about using gdrive:
- gdrive serves as a storage point for pgmove
- gdrive serves as a backup & restore point for all generated data
- gdrive is mandatory even if only using teamdrives (tdrive)
By default, you can utilize rclone without using your own keys. As of October 2018, it has been reported that Google has rated limited rclone’s default keys due to over extensive use. It is recommended that you generate and utilize your own keys!
As of PG 7.4, PG takes care of the gdrive for the user! No more manual editing, but we will keep the manual instructions below. If you would like to learn more about PG Clone and what it is [Click Here].
PG Clone makes it that simple. Just put in your keys one time, pick gdrive, verify Google's O'Authentication and that's it!
