Login force uppercase causes login failure

Hello developer, I found that when I log in, dm will force my username john to become John, which causes me to fail to log in successfully, what should I do?

that should not be the case, does it only make the first letter to be uppercase?

If so, as a temporary fix, i would recommend you to write your username and then delete the first character and write it again.
