I couldn't find a concrete answer to this, and perhaps there's a general known way to do it within Linux. But can I not get prompted for a password upon starting Input Remapper every time it launches?
There are almost no applications that ask me to do this. And I suppose it has to do with "root access" (or something like it) that it needs to. But can't I "exclude" it for this application? - I don't find it to make much sense (other than in case of the root-access thing) to have to do that, and it doesn't stop being annoying. - I would just like to make 4 quick clicks (click application, click a device or Presets, click the preset, click Apply) and move on, without entering a password in between.
Let me know if there are any ways for this. - Thanks.
