This as much a question as an idea. I want context sensitive hotkeys. That is I want the mapping to depend upon a flag I set (whether a file exists or not). I wondered if this would work. In .config/input-remapper there are directories for each device I have remapped. In those directories are a json file for the remapping I generated. If I take the json file and copy it elsewhere and do this for each remapping of that device that I generate and then copy the json file of the remapping that I want to use from my program to the original preset directory will that change the mapping of the device for when I use it?
