OneXPlayer1AMD stuck on a black screen when rebooted

Describe the bug

This happens on a brand new install, just right after I get things setup and then reboot, it hangs on a black screen forever until I hold down the power button. It is guaranteed to happen in game mode, but hit or miss when in desktop mode. It doesn't happen if I turn the device on then reboot right away without doing anything, it just reboots normal then. It looks like I have to be doing things for a while then reboot it. I do have HHD enabled, but it also happens without it. I have tried right after the first boot when I installed the system

The device to reboot normal without getting stuck in a black screen forever
