I decided to revive this package. I continuously see people adding stars, and it's quite a small package to maintain. I don't see why not do it. In this PR, I want to do the following things:
After merging, I will go through code and check if there's anything to clean up (and maybe testing), try releasing a minor version. Later I plan to go through the issues. This can take some time.
