Status Desktop - 2.32.0-beta

Hero features

• Wallet Connect and Browser Connect features so the user can connect to DApps on ETH Mainnet, Arbitrum, and Optimism.
  • Users will be able to connect and interact with DApps via our Desktop Status app, choosing their preferred connection method—either WalletConnect or Decentralized Browser Connect.
• Prefilled payment request/link
  • The user will be able to generate a link for a transaction with pre-filled information so the receiver of this link won’t need to re-enter details when they start a transaction.
• Transaction history
  • Now, users will be able to see the history of their transactions generated via Status.

• Improved notifications within the app when the transaction is placed/pending/confirmed.
• An error message has been added to inform users when they select an unsupported image for the community logo or banner while creating a community.
• Reduced the time for building community contacts on App startup
• Improved the password instructions for min and max password length
• Resolved an issue where messages were not delivered when sent from an offline state, caused by the desktop client failing to detect that the device was offline.

macOS users: after you open Status.dmg and copy Status.app to the Applications folder, you will need to "right click -> open" when running it for the first time (due to new Apple requirements for notarization). You may need to "right click -> open" twice.
